Immunizations

Commonly received vaccine schedules:

  • TWINRIX (Hepatitis A + B): Initial shot, 1 month after initial shot, 6 months after initial shot.
  • HEP A: Initial shot, 6-12 months after initial shot
  • HEP B: Initial shot, 1 month after initial shot, 6 months after initial shot
  • GARDASIL (HPV): Initial shot, 2 months after initial shot, 6 months after initial shot
  • CERVARIX (HPV): Initial shot, 1 months after initial shot, 6 months after initial shot
  • TETANUS BOOSTER: every 10 years (usually given with Pertussis [Whooping cough] and Diphtheria in people over age 15)
  • PREVNAR 13 and/or PNEUMOVAX 23 (Pneumonia): 1-2 shots, depending on risk and/or past history. For the prevention of invasive pneumococcal disease. Please speak to us to find out if you are a candidate.
  • ZOSTAVAX (Shingles): Single shot. Indicated for patients over 50-60 years old
  • BEXSERO (Meningitis - Meningococcal B): Series of 2-3 shots + booster, depending on age. Higher risk in infants and teenagers.
