Dr. Bernstein is a member of the the Midtown Family Health Organization.  This is a group of over 35 physicians in various locations who collaborate and provided after hours services to our patients.  After hours services are provided from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday to Thursday and either 9 AM to 12 Noon on Saturday OR Sunday.  If Dr. Bernstein is not available and you wish to make an appointment with the after hours on call physician, please call 416-486-1956 for clinic information.

You can also speak to a nurse anytime after hours if you have a health concern and need advice.  To do so, call the Telephone Health Advisory Service (Telehealth) at: 1-866-553-7205

You can also often reach your doctor after hours via our Secure Email system. Please be aware however that we cannot guarantee a turnaround time for email responses. If you are experiencing an emergency, please go to your nearest Emergency Department. If you have an urgent concern that cannot wait, please call Telehealth.  Do not use email for urgent requests.
